Arlo Maisan

Large, looping handwriting on the back identifies the child in this christening photo as Arlo Maisan, but nothing else is known about Arlo or the Sunbeam Gallery where his photo was taken. You can see what may be his mother’s dress where the gown ends as she held him for his photo. It is a standard sized cabinet card which would date it anywhere between 1866-1914, the darker color of the card may suggest the 1880s.
