So my dear hearts …

Turn out your lights, roll down the shades, draw the drapes, cuddle up in your favorite spot by the telly, and glue your little eyes to your TV screen … for today’s TALE OF TERROR! – Sir Graves Ghastly

I thought it only appropriate that we celebrate Halloween with a throwback to my childhood in Detroit. Cold, rainy/snowy Saturdays were just right for spending time with Sir Graves Ghastly watching tales of the supernatural, monsters, and all things spooky. A chill went down  your spine as Sir Graves gave the instruction  to “turn out your lights, roll down the shades, draw the drapes … ”  Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, and The Mummy were featured movies, which were offset by lighthearted skits that helped to bring your heart rate back down before the next feature began.

Lawson J. Deming spent 15 years entertaining children of all ages with his cast of ghoulish characters. For that we say “thank you” and “happy haunting.”
