Researching your family history can be fun and very exciting. Finding little gems of information along the way sparks an even greater desire to learn more. Before you know it, you can become completely overwhelmed and frustrated with all the tidbits you have accumulated. The best way to alleviate these feelings is to organize your information and document your findings.

Learning to organize is vital to the process of researching. I do use online tools constantly and couldn’t do without cloud-based storage for all of my findings; but, call me old-fashioned if you like, I still want a certain amount of hard copy documents to track my research.
