A trip to St Louis, Missouri, should always include a visit to Forest Park. On a recent trip a few weeks ago to NARA, I stopped by the Jewel Box to capture a few photos and enjoy its splendid beauty. Enjoy!

Designed by William C.E. Becker, Jewel Box was constructed in 1936 and dedicated on November 14, 1936. The Art-Deco style greenhouse was built at a cost of $117,000 with a large portion of funding coming from the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
A visit to St Louis isn’t complete without a visit to beautiful Forest Park. Visitors can visit the Jewel Box, a variety of museums, and the St Louis Zoo, all within this 1,293 acre treasure of a city park.
