
The only markings on this cabinet card photo show the surname Igleheart. We rescued this photo from an antique store in Newburgh, Indiana and surname searches show the Igleheart surname in nearby Evansville, Indiana, so it’s plausible that the woman and child in this photo are part of that family. Using Maureen Taylor’s descriptions in The Family Photo Detective, we can use details on the woman’s blouse and hairstyle to further date the photo to approximately 1908-1914.
